Retro console repair in Sofia
Consoles from the 80s and 90s do not fail at random. Dried-out capacitors, worn optics and dead save batteries are a matter of time rather than luck — and that is exactly what I fix.
Most of the time the machine is not broken, it is tired. Electrolytic capacitors in the power section dry out after thirty years and the console either refuses to start or puts noise in the picture. The laser in a PS1 or a Saturn loses power and discs read only sometimes. The lithium cell in SNES and N64 cartridges runs flat and saves vanish at power-off.
I work with an iron and a microscope, not by swapping whole boards. If a component can be replaced, I replace the component — the original board stays original. On a console with collector value, that is the difference between a repaired machine and a devalued one.
