BRINGINGOLD HARDWAREBACK TO LIFE

It started with a broken SNES in the attic and a bad idea about fixing it. Twenty years later, more than 2000 devices have passed through the workshop — from NES cartridges to full-size arcade cabinets.

I use original or equivalent components, photograph every step, and never start a repair before you have approved the quote.

What people say

  • I brought in a console that had not powered on since 2004. I got it back working, cleaner than I remember it new, and with RGB output on top.
    Martin D.SNES, restoration
  • The official service centre quoted me the price of a new console. Here I paid a third of that and got a warranty.
    Radost K.PlayStation 5, HDMI port
  • I followed the cabinet restoration online, step by step. I never once had to call and ask where things stood.

Frequently asked questions

Not finding your answer? Call me — I answer the phone too.

  • How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics costs 20 BGN and is deducted from the repair price if you go ahead. If you decline, you only pay for the diagnostics.

  • How long does a repair take?

Cleaning and servicing — 2 to 4 days. Component-level repair — 5 to 10 days. Full restoration or an arcade cabinet — 3 weeks and up.

  • Is there a warranty?

6 months on the work performed and the parts fitted. It does not cover new physical damage or work done by another shop.

  • Can I ship the device to you?

Yes. Send it by courier to the address in the Contact section. Pack it well and include a note with your name and phone — the card number is issued on arrival.

  • What parts do you use?

Original parts when they are available, quality equivalents when they are not. I always tell you which one is going into your device beforehand.

  • How do I pay?

Cash or card on site, or bank transfer. You pay on collection, after you have seen the device working.

  • Will I lose my saved games and data?

No. If the device has internal memory or a card, I do not touch it without your explicit permission. Back it up before you bring the device in.

  • What if it cannot be fixed?

If the device cannot be repaired, you pay only for the diagnostics and get everything back, disassembled parts included.
